The General Business Meeting for the MacThomas North America Association was held in Orange Park, FL on Feb.26th, 2011.  The membership approved the treasurer's and membership reports. 

The results for the vote on members elected to the board were read by the SecretaryJoy MacThomas, Ron Thomas and Charles Thomas were elected for a two year term as board members.  Donna La Rocca was also elected and will fill in 1 year term.This report was accepted. A vote for Thomas Marble to be our Clan Chaplain was accepted and approved.A vote for Dale Thomas to be our Clan Armorer was accepted and approved. I would like to thank Chandler Thomasson for making the board member ribbons and donating them to the Clan.  I will have badges made for all members of the board at our next gathering.   There was a general consensus among the members present to move the annual gathering to St. Augustine, Florida.   However this did not get a final vote.  We the board members will research to see if this will be for the good of the clan and update in the next newsletter. 

The members would also like to have a list of everyone in the clan and be able to stay in contact with each other.  We can send this out in the next news letter so if you object please notify the Secretary and you will not be included on the list.
