MacThomas North America is incorporated as a non-profit
association in the State of Indiana.
We are an independent incorporated association of the proud descendants of the "MacThomas
Clan" family at large. We recognize the identified "MacThomas Clan"
as beginning in the 16th century in the area of Glenshee, Scotland and now linked
to Chief Andrew MacThomas of Finegand. However, we also recognize, that many
of this original group's ancestors migrated to other areas and found affiliation
and protection with Clans of other names. Further, we recognize that many
clan members left Glenshee when the clan became "broken". They took on various
associated clan names and migrated elsewhere. Our association is proud of our
Scottish roots, our MacThomas and associated sept names, and our North American
heritage. We want to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions of our ancestors
to the development of this continent and the principles upon which it was
founded.
OUR PURPOSE

TO PROMOTE AND PRESERVE THE CUSTOMS, TRADITIONS, AND HERITAGE OF OUR SCOTTISH ANCESTORS.

TO PROVIDE SERVICE, THROUGH A VARIETY OF MEANS, TO NORTH AMERICAN CELTIC ORGANIZATIONS WITH DIVERSE
YET SIMILAR INTERESTS.

TO ESTABLISH A REPOSITORY FOR RESEARCH OF OUR ANCESTRAL MIGRATIONS TO NORTH AMERICA.

TO PROMOTE, HONOR, AND CELEBRATE THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF OUR ANCESTORS AND THEIR DESCENDANTS,
FOR THEIR FUTURE GENERATIONS.
If you are a descendent of the MacThomas Clan or a friend with
a personal interest in the Clan MacThomas, you are welcome to join.
